Conditions bowled on 42ft house pattern on wood lanes with guardian and Brunswick pro anvilane synthetic. Bowling Ball Drilling = Pin above bridge and the CG angling to 1.5 inches off the thumb - I did need a 1 inch balance hole 2 1/2 inches deep to increase the track flare. The balance hole was placed on the VAL line 3 inches down from my PAP. Surface used = 1000 Abralon. Type of bowler 250 rev rate 16 mph stroker. | Watch more soapbox videos on AOL Video |
Test results the wood lanes had more back end than the pro anvilane probably due to the friction on the wood. My intent was to have a solid reactive bowling ball with end over end roll that would give a stronger reaction in oil with this drilling layout and bowling ball cover stock. In addition, I wanted an solid bowling ball for that would get down the lane on a broken down shot but still be able to eat threw carry down. I believe I achieved my goal. I did have a better reaction on the wood lanes do to the friction but my scores were great on both surfaces. This is a very smooth bowling ball. In addition, the ball has continuation and recovers very well.. .
