This is a bowling tip on some methods of getting your ball to roll sooner in bowling…
The methods listed can help you if you’re having trouble getting the ball to the pocket or if you are at the pocket and you need some help to carry the pins.

Before we go into too much detail on these methods I wanted to clear the air on some things one being the motion of a bowling ball.

The motion of a bowling ball is slide, hook and roll. These 3 stages are called transitions.

Shortening the slide part of the lane which can be done with some bowling ball surface adjustments or by slowing the ball down…

We can also do this with a sooner and smoother transitioning bowling ball drilling or by setting the ball down sooner…

A couple good techniques for do this is moving your mark or target closer to you by a foot or so…
Another technique that can be used is setting the ball down sooner and even behind the foul line if needed…
