Columbia Melt Down
gave us a shorter slide through the heads with a longer transition to hook in the mid-lane with a smooth and continuous motion on the back-end… This was a great ball for medium to heavy oil patterns… The Columbia 300 Melt Down was a good control ball for playing on fresh medium heavy lane conditions with drier back-ends…

Brunswick Mastermind Intellect gave us a medium slide through the heads with a longer and smoother transition to hook in the mid-lane along with a strong and smooth ball motion on the back part of the lane… This ball had good continuation that was controllable. The Brunswick Mastermind Intellect will need oil to perform as designed and is best used on medium to heavy oil patterns..

DV8 Thug The DV8 Thug gave us a longer skid through the heads with a shorter transition in the mid-lane. In addition, to a longer and smoother back-end motion… This ball had more of an L shape ball motion and also had some fade back type entry angle to the pocket. The DV8 Thug did have good pin carry and was very controllable and it was like using a smoother ball that got down the lane and had a set up reaction to it. It seem to work good on medium to heavier oil volumes… We used 55 x 5 x 35 dual angle drilling layout, and the out of box surface finish, and bowled on a 39ft house pattern in testing this ball…

Columbia Throw Down When Testing the Columbia Throw Down: The ball gave us a longer slide through the heads with a medium transition to hook in the mid-lane with strong motion on the back-end… This was a great ball for medium oil patterns or when you need a ball to get through the heads or and still have a strong hit, this ball had a stronger response on the back-end but did not jump on the friction… We used the out of box surface finish, and bowled on a 42ft house pattern in testing this ball and a pin under drilling…
